Orange Park Boy Explains Baptism

Nate Burns is no ordinary kid. He possesses a wealth of spiritual depth and sensitivity, to such a degree that many adults could take some serious notes from his playbook. If I were to give a piece of advice to Nate, as his older brother in the faith, I might look to Paul’s playbook, and borrow one of his notes- “Don’t let anyone look down upon you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity” (1 Tim 4:12).

As you listen to Nate’s story, let his tender words warm your heart. Let them inspire you to venture out into the deeper waters of your faith. And let them remind you of all that is good in the world…that the purest element in life is still the transformation of the human heart.

All filming was done at Redeemer Church in Ponte Vedra, FL. Nate currently resides in Orange Park, FL, where he studies as a 6th grader and likes to practice aikido with his father.
